What is University Mental Health Day and when does it happen?
University Mental Health Day is the biggest day of the year for student mental health, bringing together the university community to make mental health a university-wide priority, to create ongoing change to the future of student mental health. This year is all about the power of using your voice. Join us on Thursday 7th of March 2019 as we inspire conversations, take action and create change!
How can I get involved with University Mental Health Day?
Take a look at our ‘Get Involved’ page for tips and explore how you can use your voice this University Mental Health Day. Anything from sharing your experiences on social media, to running a listening event to lobbying a senior leader at your university. The day is all about your voice, get creative and explore new ways to shape the future of student mental health.

What resources are available?
We have lots of resources to help you use your voice and promote your activity this University Mental Health Day. Whether you're planning an activity on your campus, halls of residence or at your workplace, you can use our physical and online resources. These include posters, postcards and social media images.

Can someone from Student Minds or the University Mental Health Advisors Network attend my event?
If you’d like someone from Student Minds or UMHAN to attend your event please make sure you inform us in advance and we’ll try our best to be there. Check to see if there is a Student Minds Group at your university or a Mental Health Advisor. Please note we’re a small team and while we’d love to attend everybody’s events, unfortunately, this is not always possible.
